Welcome to the San Diego Flute Guild—San Diego's Flute Resource.

The San Diego Flute Guild is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting and encouraging the growth and development of flutists of all ages and levels of ability. Our mission is to provide opportunities for education, performance, social interaction, and the advancement of pedagogy to our membership and to the San Diego flute community at large.

Holiday Concert / December 14th 2008 - 4:00 p.m.

Tierrasanta Lutheran Church - 4:00 p.m.
The San Diego Flute Guild sponsors an annual holiday concert featuring flute choirs of any size from the various private studios in San Diego as well as some combined choirs. Holiday music, sacred and secular music are welcome. This event is free to all flute guild members and their families and a great way to celebrate the holiday season.
For those students who would like to join an elementary or intermediate choir, there will be collaborative San Diego Flute Guild choirs open to Flute Guild Members. Further information on these choirs will be posted in the near future. More...

Young Artist Solo Competition 2009 - REQUIREMENTS / April 26, 2009

The SDFG Young Artist Solo Competition 2009 is open to any flute player who is a member of SDFG and meets the age requirement for the respective division. Persons wishing to participate in this competition may join SDFG upon entry and do not need to live within the Greater San Diego area. Notifications regarding competition date (generally scheduled in late April or early May), location, prize money, and other specifics will be sent out after the first of the year. More...
